Red River College (RRC)

Red River College was the first partner in developing the Princess Auto Foundation Endowment Bursary program. With first support in the 2009-2010 school year, Red River College has since directed its support towards Automotive Service Technicians, Electricians, and Welding Apprenticeship Programs.

In the 2010-2011 school year, two students received funding for their eduction--one in carpentry and one in cabinetry & woodworking tech.

Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT)

NAIT development office administers the Princess Auto Endowment Bursary agreement each year. Trades supported at NAIT are: Automotive Service Technician, Electrician, and Welding Apprenticeship Programs.

In the 2008-2009 school year, NAIT distributed one award to an Electrician student, while in 2009-2010 distributed 2 scholarships to the same faculty.

British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT)

The Princess Auto Foundation initiated an endowment bursary program in 2008 which was administered through the BCIT Development Office. The Princess Auto Bursary was distributed to one student in 2008-2009 for an Electrician Apprenticeship and two students for Electrician Apprenticeships in the 2009-2010 year by BCIT. The purpose of this award is for Automotive Service Technicians, Electricians, and Welding Apprenticeship Programs.

Fanshawe College

The Province of Ontario, the Ontario Trust for Student Support (OTSS) provides an incentive to establish student bursaries by providing matching dollars for new endowed bursaries. Fanshawe College began administering the Princess Auto Foundation Endownment Bursary in the 2009-2010 year. The Endowment Bursary is in support of Fanshawe's School of Technology, Transportation, and Motive Power Program.

In the 2009-2010 school year, Fanshawe distributed two awards to students in the Motive Power Technician - Automotive Apprentice program. Following this, in 2010-2011, three awards were distributed to students again in the Motive Power Technician - Automotive Apprentice program.

Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST)

The SIAST development office establishes the Princess Auto Foundation Endowment Bursary agreement each year. The first PAF bursary was administered in the 2009-2010 school year. SIAST selects from the following programs: Automotive Service Technician, Electrician, and Welding Apprenticeship Programs.

In 2010-2011, SIAST distributed two awards to students at its college--the first in Electronic Tech., and second in Parts Management.

College of the North Atlantic (CONA)

The Princess Auto Endowment Bursary program began its distribution to CONA in the 2009-2010 school year. The purpose of the award is for Automotive Service Technicians, Electricians, and Welding Apprenticeship Programs.

In 2009, CONA distributed one award to a student in their Welding Apprenticeship Program, and in 2010-2011 distributed an additional award to a student in Introductory Welding.

Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT)

The Princess Auto Endowment Bursary program began its distribution to SAIT in the 2010-2011 school year. The purpose of the award is for Automotive Service Technicians, Electricians, and Welding Apprenticeship Programs.

The endowment will be distributed for the first time in Summer of 2012!
