Who We Are

NBCC is a provincially-recognized, public post-secondary institution reputed for producing skilled, knowledgeable graduates who are contributing to the Province’s socio-economic prosperity. NBCC has over 90 programs across six different campuses throughout New Brunswick and offers students one and two year certificate and diploma programs.

NBCC graduates continue to be employed in high numbers in New Brunswick. According to the Survey of 2013 New Brunswick Community College graduates, 86% were working in the province one year after graduation. The survey also found 88% of respondents were employed at the time of the survey, 87% were satisfied with their NBCC education and 84% were employed in work related to their education. NBCC graduates participate in the labour force at a significantly higher percentage (95%) than the overall New Brunswick (63%) or Canadian population (66%). The Canadian labour market shows that “skilled trades play an important role in a knowledge-based economy and are essential to maintain Canada’s competitive position.” The community college system is the means to that end and each year NBCC graduates over 2000 students ready to fill the gap in industry.
