About Us

The Princess Auto Foundation was founded and formed in 2007. In its inaugural year we raised over $40,000. From 2008 through to 2010, the Princess Auto Foundation raised over $1 Million.  We raised these funds by forming partnerships with Pepsi Bottling Group, Old Dutch Foods, and Mondetta. Each year, Princess Auto stores host Princess Auto Day mid-June. 10% of the net sales company-wise are donated to our foundation. This is the one day that Pepsi and Old Dutch provide donated product to be sold at stores--from which all proceeds are given to the foundation.

We began to disperse funds in 2009 by partnering with 3 Canadian technical Colleges. These were NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Edmonton, AB), RRC (Red River College, Winnipeg, MB), and Fanshawe College (London, ON). As of today, we have added 5 additional colleges which include SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Calgary, AB), SIAST (Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology, Saskatoon, SK), BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology, Burnaby, BC), Sheridan College (Oakville, ON), and CONA (College of the North Atlantic, St. John's, NL). The Princess Auto Endowment Bursary is administered by each college separately.

Each college recognizes students through a variety of trades and has its own selection process to honour and distribute the Princess Auto Foundation Endownment Bursary.

We would like to extend a "Thank you" to our dedicated Princess Auto Foundation committee members; simply stated that during these challenging/energized times, it is so humbling to have a team willing to go that extra mile while having fun and raising funds for our foundation.
